The Name Game

Nursery...Check!
First pack of diapers....Check!
Hospital plan...Check!
Baby names....um.....nothing yet!

There's a lot of pressure that goes into picking baby names...I didn't realize how hard it would actually be. I guess maybe it would be easier if we knew Baby P's gender but that's just not the case!

Boy or Girl, we're still at a loss....any suggestions? Seriously, what are some of the best/worst baby names you've heard?

  2. Just to let you know, not that I know from experience, they won't let you leave the hospital until you pick a name. We had a list, but once we saw the baby and got to know him over a few days, we knew the name. That would be my suggestion - a list and wait to meet him/her. Are you going to wait until delivery to find out the sex?

  3. There's a LOT to a name.

Stick with classics and you can't go wrong. Veer too far off the beaten path and you may end up regretting it. OR not. It's all what you MAKE of the name. You can make the name Toilet cool if you really work hard enough to make your child as confident in their skin as possible.

My biggest thing is making sure the name flows from start to finish, including middle and last name. AND that the initials don't spell out something funky!

Jackson, Paxton, Pressley, Katherine, Corinne, Lena, Jenna, Jade, Anderson, William, Oliver...I could go on.

  4. I don't know why but, I LOVE the name Olive.

    I know.

Something must be wrong with me to want to name a child after a martini staple.
